November 15, 2020, 7-8:30pm EDT
1stGenYale is excited to invite you to our fifth annual Career Networking Mixer for Students & Alumni on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, 7-8:30pm EST. While our event is usually held during the traditional Yale Assembly & Convocation – now we will get together virtually!
All alumni and students from Yale College and G&P Schools are welcome to participate!
Our career networking mixer is designed especially for Yale students, many of whom are among the first in their families to attend college and come from low income backgrounds. Sharing similar experiences, alumni want to hear from Yale students about their career interests as well as share their own career journeys. Alumni want to help all our students be successful at Yale and in their personal career explorations…and avoid some of the roadblocks which got in our way.
After a brief welcome, we’ll go into breakout rooms for small group discussion based on career fields.
1. Arts & Architecture.
4. Computer Science & Engineering.
9. Law & Social Justice.
10. Health Care
11. Non-Profit & Public Service.
Select your breakout room by career field on the registration form. Students are free to visit other rooms after their initial selection, while we ask the alumni to host their career field rooms.
